Join us for an engaging participatory action where gelified rum is transformed into yarn and various shapes through a salt bath. The process includes:

• 3-4:30 PM: Initial activities at GMTC
• 4:30-6 PM: Continued actions at Columbus Park
  The gelified rum is thrown into the salt bath, creating unique forms: some material is carefully pressed through syringes for long strands, while other pieces are tossed to allow more spontaneous designs. Once created, the pieces are collected and rinsed in water. This event draws inspiration from the collective act of throwing rum during San Benito celebrations. Everyone is invited to participate by forming strands, throwing the gel into the salt bath, and rinsing the completed pieces.
