Tuesday Jam - A contact improvisation dance jam CCAP

Welcome to an exciting Contact Improvisation (CI) jam every Tuesday this spring, hosted by the fantastic non-profit association Kontaktimprovisation Stockholm! 🌿

🗓 When: Tuesdays, February 10 - May 26 18:00 - 20:00
🕔 Doors open at 17:45 and 18:45. Arrive at one of these times for entry!

💰 Price: 50kr per jam for members, 100kr per jam for non-members (Payment via Swish or cash).

This event is designed for everyone curious about dancing in and out of contact. Each jam will have a host managing the space and logistics, sometimes facilitating a group warm-up or proposing a theme for exploration. This shorter jam (2 hours) encourages focused engagement, and participants are encouraged to take care of both themselves and the improvisational space. Remember, talking and socializing happen outside the studio to keep the dance atmosphere intact.

👟 What to wear: Comfortable clothes and be prepared to dance barefoot!

Participants engage in a fluid, evolving flow, embracing unpredictability while enhancing reflexes and fostering deep interactions. Developed in the 1970s in the USA, CI has grown into a global community of movers.
