Overview:
Embark on a captivating journey along the Wealdway — an 80-mile trail that links Gravesend to Eastbourne, unveiling the stunning landscapes, historical landmarks, and rich geology of Kent and East Sussex. Experience serene woodlands, vibrant fields, and charming villages as you traverse this beautiful path. 🌼
We’ll be completing the trail in eight sections, and you’re welcome to join for as many stages as you like. Opt for the complete trail experience and earn a medal! 🏅

Route Details for Stage 2: Trosley ➵ West Peckham

• Date: Saturday, 4th April
• Time: 10:00 AM
• Distance: 9 miles (14 km)
• Cost: £10 per person 💷
• Duration: 4-5 hours including breaks
• Start Location: Trosley Country Park
• End Location: West Peckham
• Terrain: Mixed woodland, fields, and quiet lanes with a 200m incline.

As we leave Trosley Country Park, we’ll meander through tranquil woodland trails and stunning Kent countryside, passing the historic Coldrum Long Barrow. Destined for West Peckham — a quaint village nestled amidst hop gardens and orchards — we can celebrate our journey with a refreshing drink at the local pub! 🍻

• Bring a packed lunch and enough water (we recommend 2L)
• Limited toilet facilities available 🚻
• Dogs on leads are welcome 🐕
• Sturdy footwear is essential; prepare for nature breaks 🌳
