🏕️ Wild Camping in Risveden
Join us for a weekend in the wilderness of Risveden! We will hike through the nature reserve and set up camp by the lake of Stora Rullesjön, swim, and relax, hopefully around a campfire.

🚌 How to Get There & Back (Västtrafik)

Outbound Journey (Saturday, Aug 1):

• 10:35 – Bus GRÅS (towards Sjövik) from Åkareplatsen (Gothenburg).
• 11:26 – Arrive at Hagströms affär, Stop B.

Return Journey (Sunday, Aug 2):

• Buses run every hour back from Skepplanda (Albotorget). We will aim for around 13:00 with the following route:
  • 13:07 – Bus 434 from Albotorget.
  • 13:21 – Arrive at Älvängen resecentrum.
  • 13:39 – Train Västtågen 17347 from Älvängen.
  • 14:05 – Arrive at Göteborg Centralstation.

🎒 What to Bring

• Camping gear: Tent (or hammock/tarp), sleeping bag, and sleeping pad. Note: There is no wind shelter around the lake this time.
• Food & Water: Enough water for hiking and cooking, plus food for 2 days.
• Note on Fireplace: There is a fire pit at the campsite, but we do not know if there is a grill grate available. Please bring a camping stove or food that doesn't require a grill grate.
• Swimwear & Towel: Don't forget your swimwear – we'll most likely take a refreshing swim in the lake! 🏊‍♂️
• Weather-appropriate clothing: Comfortable hiking shoes, warm layers for the evening, and rain gear just in case.
• Other essentials: Headlamp/flashlight, insect repellent, toilet paper, and trash bags (pack out what you pack in!).
