Women-only Improv Night (Taster)

🕊️ Who we are
Screaming Pigeons curates intimate gatherings for women in their 20s and 30s in Singapore who believe there's something magical about female friendships. We create spaces where it's okay to be honest, curious and a little vulnerable, where strangers become people who truly see one another. We believe the best friendships don't just make life more fun; they shape who we become.

🌿 What is our Improv Taster session for beginners?
We're teaming up once again with improv teacher Shirin for a low-pressure introduction to improvised theatre for women with no or minimal experience in drama and theatre. Through fun games, playful exercises, and supportive group activities, you'll learn the foundations of improv while meeting a room full of kind, open women.

What we'll do

• Explore the basics of improv, including the famous "Yes, And" principle, scene-building, listening, and spontaneity, all while playing beginner-friendly games designed to get everyone comfortable.
• This is one of those “why not” kind of evenings: social, grounding, and just the right amount of ridiculous. And of course, women-only!
  In a world obsessed with getting things right, improv reminds us that mistakes can be the most interesting part. Expect plenty of laughter, a little silliness, and a surprisingly wholesome evening with the pigeons.

📩 Before the event

🌼 Good to know
Our events are intentionally kept small, so please only register if you're able to attend. If your plans change, we'd really appreciate a heads-up! Cancellations made at least 5 days before the event are eligible for a full refund.

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for community and promotional purposes. If you'd prefer not to appear, simply let your host know before we begin.
