We are holding a special zoo member Storytime on June 17th on the zoo lawn! The program starts at 10:30am on the lawn, so be sure to arrive early and give yourself time to walk over.******************Community Storytime is a free, weekly emerging reader program brought to you by ConocoPhillips Alaska. The program starts at 10:30am every Wednesday and requires no registration. Find a seat on chair or floor pillows and enjoy a 30 minute session where we read animal storybooks to young readers. This program is best suited for ages 4-7 and a parent, guardian or relative must stay with kids during the program. All ages are welcome!And a special bonus? In the summer months, plan ahead for a Little Explorers tour of the zoo for kids, featuring stops at the cutest animals. This tour is one hour, 11am-12pm. Tickets are online or purchased at the gate. Members get a 50% discount on this tour which ends at the Coffee Shop.Plan for a zoo visit after, just pay regular rates or use your membership at the gate if you wish to enter the zoo and walk the trails.
