Hrishikesh's most recent EP, Rooms I Used to Call My Own, debuted in March 2022. Before pursuing his solo career, he released four albums as The One AM Radio and collaborated with Lakeith Stanfield on an EP under the name Moors.
As the creator and host of the award-winning podcast Song Exploder, which has also become a Netflix original series, Hrishikesh dives into the creative processes of musicians, showcasing their stories in an engaging way. 🎧 Vulture hailed it as “probably the best use of the podcast format ever.”
Beyond music, Hrishikesh has composed original scores for films and television shows, including New Line Cinema's thriller Companion, the Netflix series Everything Sucks!, and the Sundance rom-com Save the Date.
He has also co-hosted acclaimed podcasts such as Home Cooking with chef Samin Nosrat and The West Wing Weekly with actor Joshua Malina. His extensive work includes contributing to Google's first original podcast and producing Shirley Manson’s podcast, The Jump, for Mailchimp.
Hrishikesh's insights on listening to people were featured in a TED Talk, and his contributions have been recognized by Fast Company and AdWeek. 🌍✨ He even serves as a digital strategy advisor to the Library of Congress.
