Architectural Projection Mapping Final Showcase
Under the Manhattan Bridge

Join us for an outdoor evening of projection mapping, where students from New York University Tandon present their final works on architecture in DUMBO.
Over the past semester, students have developed projection-mapped pieces using real-time tools like TouchDesigner and Unreal Engine, exploring how light, image, and structure operate as spatial systems.
This event brings those experiments into the city, transforming a section beneath the Manhattan Bridge into a temporary projection surface shaped by light and shadow.
Expect a range of works from abstract visual systems to narrative-driven pieces, each responding to the specific conditions of the site.
Location
DUMBO, Brooklyn (under the Manhattan Bridge)
Format
14 works, each 1 minute long, running on a continuous loop from 8–10 PM.

Works featured by Nwao A, Carey Corrow, Niki Hu, Eunji Kim, Bryan Lai, Sydnie Levasseur, Adhithi Manickam Baskar, Ranjani Ramakrishnan, Isidore Ramkissoon, Ryan Rotella, Kayla Yoo, Lecheng Zhao, Alda Boyd, Jiaze Chen.

Please be mindful of the space and our neighbors, and leave plenty of room for people to walk around us under the bridge.

Architectural Projection Mapping is a class at IDM NYU, taught by Adjunct Professor Louise Lessél https://www.louiselessel.com/

Be sure to also check out the Projection Mapping on the side of the Bridge by ITP NYU students taught by Gabriel Barcia-Colombo.
