Join us for a delightful screening of Bert Ruins Everything, a tender coming-of-age comedy by Swedish director Manuel Concha (known for Suedi and Bäckström). Based on the beloved Bert Diaries by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson, this film follows teenage best friends Bert (portrayed by Axel Adelöw) and Åke as they navigate the chaos of their school-mandated internship week between 8th and 9th grades.

Bert finds himself working at Tippen, a family-owned restaurant run by his classmate. There, he meets Molly (played by Matilda Gross), a mesmerizing prep cook, and instantly falls for her. However, the situation becomes a tangled love triangle as Åke also has feelings for Molly! The film unfolds a whimsical mix of lies, friendship, and love, leading to a dramatic climax that could jeopardize both his best friend and his romantic aspirations.
