
Body Awareness Practice: Softening and Letting go
Join us at Arc Space London for a transformative session of Softening and Letting Go, guided by dancer and certified Somatic Movement instructor Asya Bykova. 🌟
What to Expect?
In this unique practice, we shift our focus from our minds to our bodies, observing our breath, movements, and areas of tension. In our daily lives, we often get caught up in tasks and control, causing our bodies to tense up and our breath to become shallow. This practice teaches us to recognize these sensations and gradually release unnecessary tension through movement and awareness.

- If you feel accumulated tension in your body (shoulders, back, breath).
- Needed a balance between control and surrender.
- Perfect for those working in intellectually demanding environments, seeking a deeper connection with their bodies.
What Will We Do?
The session lasts for two hours, during which we'll move slowly with pauses, work on breathing and attention, and explore everyday movements to reduce unnecessary effort. This is an opportunity to focus on how your body feels from within and where it can let go of tension.
Led By: Asya Bykova, a certified somatic movement practitioner, dancer, and culturalologist, who has been helping others find a calm and stable path to themselves through their bodies since 2019.

- The practice will be conducted in Russian.
- Participants aged 18+ are welcome.
