East View Cemetery Beautification Day

Please join us for the monthly cemetery Beautification Day. Any time you can give is appreciated! Some light refreshments will be provided. East View has some tools and leaf bags, but please feel free to bring your own tools too. Work/yard gloves are recommended if you have them! Some activities we need volunteers to assist with are listed below. There will also be a list of tasks that need attention posted beside the door of the cemetery office at 56 4th Avenue.-Picking up debris/trash-Trimming weeds and vines-Cleaning headstones The East View Cemetery is an important part of the East Lake community. It’s used by residents to run through, walk their dogs, and even for events like A Grave Affair at Halloween! It is also maintained only through volunteers. These awesome volunteers maintain the grounds and control deterioration & neglect. We would love to see more East Lake residents come out and help during our monthly Beautification Days!
