FREE - Pets Day Out 2026 (NEW DATE)

📢 EVENT UPDATE: Due to wet weather and poor ground conditions, the Council has postponed Pets Day Out originally planned for Saturday, 30 May. The event will now be held on Saturday, 20 June from 11 AM to 3 PM. Thank you for your understanding and continued support! We can’t wait to see you and your furry friends on the new date!

Join us at McLaughlin Oval, Riverwood for an exciting day celebrating our beloved pets and the vibrant pet-loving community! 🐶🐱

Bring your family, friends, and leashed pets to enjoy an abundance of free activities, including:

• 🐾 The 500 Paws Walk
• 🐾 A K9Fun agility course
• 🐾 Free microchipping

Explore a variety of local pet services and stalls, meet other pet owners, interact with animal charities, and enhance your knowledge about responsible pet ownership! Don’t miss out on the chance to see incredible animals like lizards, pythons, frogs, turtles, and even a crocodile!

Kids will love the petting zoo, face painting, and free activities designed especially for them. Get ready for a tail-wagging good time filled with fun!
