The Format
1v1 half court. First to 15. Win by 2. 10-minute hard cap. Shot clock enforced. Fully refereed. No make-it-take-it. Final minute: all baskets count double.
If regulation ends tied: The Lineal Duel. Both choose a spot beyond the arc. Same location. 1 dribble max. Live defender. 10-second shot clock. First advantage wins.
The Stakes
This is Event 01. The beginning. Ten athletes enter Round 1. Five advance from the Winners Bracket. Losers drop to the elimination bracket. Win there or go home.
Champions will be crowned. Belts carry across seasons. You don't inherit the title. You take it.
