Philosophy Salon at SEE OUR VISION

Inspired by the tradition of the philosophical salon, and reimagined for the modern city dweller, this series brings people together to think about the deep questions of life through direct encounter with art.
How it works
The evening begins with three 30-minute conversations in small groups of 3–5 people. After each round, the groups reshuffle, allowing participants to meet new people, encounter new perspectives, and receive new prompts. Each conversation begins with a brief introduction and a set of philosophical prompts connected to the exhibition currently on view.
No background in philosophy or art is required — only open-mindedness, curiosity, and a willingness to think out loud with strangers. We aim to bring together a wide range of people and perspectives; everyone is welcome, as long as they remain respectful and open to others.
After the three rounds, the evening continues with drinks, lingering on ideas, and diving deeper into the conversations that stayed with you.
About the host
SEE OUR VISION is a Berlin-based gallery and community. Through events, workshops, exhibitions, and conversations, SOV creates a space for exploring contemporary art, culture, and new ideas. Bringing together artists and collectors, the project focuses on experimentation, dialogue, and discovering the extraordinary in everyday life.
