Beach.com invites you to protect our shores and take part in this crucial global day of ocean conservation. This event is a wonderful opportunity to make a living impact on our environment.

We aim to inspire travelers and coastal communities to cherish the places we love. Our beach cleanups unite volunteers, ocean advocates, and community leaders to eliminate harmful debris and spread awareness about plastic pollution. By participating, you’ll contribute to keeping our beaches pristine and our marine life safe—one piece of trash at a time. 🏖️🚮

Details:

• 📍 Location: 66-16 Beach Front Rd, Arverne, NY 11692
• ⏰ Arrival: Please arrive by 9 AM for a brief orientation with Laru Beya Collective, where you will receive your cleanup bag and t-shirt. (Pre-registration is required at least 10 days in advance to receive a shirt.)
• 💼 What to Bring: Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, gloves, trash “grabbers” (if you have them), comfortable clothing, and closed-toe shoes.
• 👶 Family-Friendly: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• 📝 Registration: All participants must review the waiver and register through the link above.
• 🎓 Community Service: Students can earn certified community service hours upon request.
• 🌧️ Weather Updates: In case of inclement weather, updates will be provided via email.
