Nestled within Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens, The Castle stands as one of New York City's finest surviving examples of Gothic Revival castellated-style architecture. Completed in 1887, this remarkable structure originally functioned as the Officers' Mess Hall and Club for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers School of Application.
