Welcoming you all to another dance at Bar Neun in Berlin – this time inviting a truely well-rounded musician & selector with some of the deepest crates of Brazilian & worldwide wax to join us.

Mauricio Fleury is no stranger to SHUSH, having spun at our functions before and also having played keys and flute at our gathering last fall alongside Cassie Kinoshi. Having been brought up in the Sao Paulo music scene, he’s led the horn-driven powerhouse ensemble Bixiga 70, as well as worked with some giants of Brazilian music, including Marcos Valle, Gal Costa and Joao Donato – the latter having an especially profound influence on him.

Last December, he’s released his debut album 'Revoada‘, showcasing his deep musicianship. But, as Mauricio has said before, DJing is where his musical pursuit has begun and still begins, and you can expect to hear some true gems… This man’s been digging for a long time.

Alongside him, SHUSH residents Ken Okuda & Orlando Rosé will keep things moving behind the decks, tapping into the deep and the soulful, the quantized and the unquantized spectrum of sounds.
