SMIR 2027- THE FINAL REVIVAL RACE!
Join us for the exhilarating Stockholm Multi Island Run (SMIR)! This unique adventure race challenges participants to traverse the stunning Stockholm Archipelago—from Arholma to Utö—in a single day, utilizing boats to hop between islands. What started as a wild concept in 2015 became a reality in 2017 with the launch of the Original 10, paving the way for several thrilling editions of SMIR:
- SMIR Original: A daytime event from Arholma to Utö, featuring a large ferry.
- SMIR Back to the Future: A special pandemic edition with 3 high-speed boats.
- SMIR Extreme: An overnight escapade from Utö to Arholma, operating from dusk to dawn.
Initially believed to be concluding in 2023, we felt the excitement rise once again! So, we're back for SMIR 2027 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the pioneers who defined this race.
Prepare for two incredible events:
- SMIR 2027 Original: Kicking off from Arholma Nord.
- SMIR Extreme 2027: Starting from Utö.
Each race stands alone, but if you're up for a challenge, you can tackle both! Team applications will open on March 1, 2027, with a selection of 20 teams per race. Priority will be given to previous finishers and race enthusiasts.
