SWOCC CTE Summer Academy

🚀 Calling all middle and high school students! Join us for the CTE Summer Academy at the Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) Coos Campus from June 15–17, 2026! This engaging event offers you the chance to dive into high-demand careers through hands-on learning experiences across the South Coast.

🆓 FREE Admission! However, registration is required as space is limited.

🌱Explore Exciting Career Pathways:

• Agroecology: "From Seed to Table" with Maria Farinacci
  Learn the future of agriculture through interactive labs and sustainable techniques. Taste produce grown on campus and discover the science behind plant biology!

• Paramedicine: with Julie Ryan
  Experience real emergency medical skills in a supportive environment. Each day builds skills for a friendly competition on the last day!

• Columbia Pacific Maritime (High School Only):
  Dive into the maritime industry with hands-on training, deck skills, and a field trip to the Charleston Marine Life Center!

🥗 Lunch is provided daily from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
