Book Synopsis
Many individuals believe that their communication style, methods of building trust, and decision-making processes are the standard. But could many of our assumptions be rooted in cultural background?
In The Culture Map, Meyer delves into the diverse perceptions different cultures have regarding various situations. What seems straightforward to one person may come across as impolite to another, and what is considered leadership in one culture could be interpreted as arrogance in another.
While the book primarily addresses international business contexts, its lessons extend to friendships, personal relationships, travel, education, online communities, and everyday social interactions across cultural divides.
