13th Annual Pocumtuck Homelands Festival: A Celebration of Native American Art, Music, & Cultures

Join us for the 13th Annual Pocumtuck Homelands Festival! 🎉 Experience a vibrant celebration of Native American arts, music, and cultures over two exciting days: Saturday, August 1 & Sunday, August 2 from 10 AM to 5 PM—rain or shine!

This year's lineup features memorable presentations by:

• Tom Porter, beloved Mohawk Elder
• Mesmerizing flute music by Hawk Henries, a Nipmuck flute maker
• Original songs from Aquinnah Wampanoag singer-songwriter Thea Hopkins
• Skills demonstrations by Andre StrongBearHeart Gaines and friends
• The Penobscot Rez Dog Singers returning with special guests

Join in on the social dances, enjoy a variety of talks at the History Tent led by Marge Bruchac, members of the Native Land Conservancy, and Evan Pritchard.

Children's activities include:

• Corn husk doll making with Kitty Hendricks-Miller from the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe
• Colorful fish printing facilitated by DCR and FirstLight

Explore our vibrant marketplace featuring about 40 outstanding Indigenous artisans, artists, and authors along the beautiful riverside bike path.
