How is a world-class festival born? The documentary film 30 Ro(c)ků for People was created to mark the festival’s 30th anniversary and offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most significant music events in Central Europe. It traces the festival’s beginnings in Český Brod, where enthusiasts Michal Thomes and Petr Fořt were behind its creation, and follows their journey filled with bold decisions, crises, and pivotal milestones that shaped the festival’s identity.
The film traces the transformation from a local event into a respected brand that has gradually risen to the top of the European festival scene and earned a place on the map of the world’s largest music events.
