AACT Academy - Play and Tech Camp

Join us for an exciting adventure at the AACT Academy - Play and Tech Camp! 🌟

From auditions to the final performance, young actors and technicians (ages 8-18) will dive into the diverse skills essential for producing a play. Utilizing children’s literature as our foundation, campers will explore:

• 📝 Playwriting
• 🎬 Directing
• 🎭 Stage Managing
• 🎨 Design Elements (set, props, costumes, makeup)
• 🎶 Sound & Lighting

While we won't construct set designs, participants will engage in basic stage makeup, and use costumes and props. Don't forget to raid your closets for costume items! ✨

Actors will be encouraged to practice their lines and develop their characters at home, while technicians will assist in sourcing sound and prop elements, and help with stage management, sound, and lights for the performance.
