According to the ancient story, humanity united to build the Tower of Babylon, a tower so high that it could reach the heavens.

But the tower fell.

Perhaps this time, instead of building higher, we might try to grow deeper.

At ALT BABYLON, different cultures, communities, and forms of expression unite for an almost 40-hour weekender curated by three local collectives:

EDEN × VEIL AMOR × RAYVE

The event begins on Friday, 21 August at 16:00, continues throughout Saturday, 22 August, and ends at 07:00 on Sunday, 23 August.

For the first time, VEIL AMOR, EDEN and RAYVE bring their communities together not as three separate events, but as one continuously evolving world.

Stage 1 - During the daytime, the park becomes an open meeting place where local and international communities share traditional art, cultural practices, workshops, ceremonies, music, food and independent projects.

Stage 2 - Inside the ship, alternative and more open-minded expressions of these cultures unfold through exhibitions, installations, music, sensuality and performance art revealing a more experimental side of ALT BABYLON. Certain parts of the programme are exclusively 18+

Nighttime from 22:00 - As daylight disappears, the journey moves deeper inside the ship. The atmosphere becomes more intense, underground and openly expressive through electronic music, immersive installations, shibari and performance.
