Now residing in Los Angeles, she serves as the Director of Programming for Street Poets, Inc., dedicated to nurturing injustice-impacted youth through mentorship and arts programming.

Alyesha has received a 2025 Los Angeles Preservation Award and has appeared on various platforms such as OWN TV, BET, LA Times, Bustle, Afropunk, PBS, Buzzfeed, and more. Her collaborations include work with esteemed organizations like the ACLU, The Shabazz Center, The Nantucket Project, Brave New Films, and the Google Interstellar Project.
