American Revolution Experience - Traveling Exhibit

Join us for the American Revolution Experience and delve into the stories of those who lived through this pivotal time in history! Explore Texas' contributions to the fight for independence from British rule in the 1770s.

Thanks to a collaboration between the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust, this traveling exhibit brings to life the experiences of drummer boys, military mapmakers, and other everyday individuals impacted by the Revolutionary War.

Utilize touch-screen kiosks, view stories, drawings, and artifacts to enhance your understanding. The exhibit, purchased by the Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution, includes two additional panels highlighting Texas' role in the Revolutionary War.

This exhibit will tour the state for the next three years as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday!

📅 Visit the library from August 17 - 21 in the Moeschle Meeting Room during open business hours (exhibit closes 30 minutes before we close). Don't forget to check out some books and movies to learn even more about the American Revolution period!
