Join us as Athlone bursts into color and creativity with the third annual Street Spectacle Parade! This vibrant celebration features over 20 community groups who have spent six months crafting a breathtaking procession filled with large street puppets, props, and costumes. Expect to be captivated by Fire Dancers, Stilt Walkers, Drummers, and lively music that brings the streets alive!
🌟 This year's event marks a powerful transition from the Year of the Snake to the Year of the Horse, symbolizing momentum, courage, and unstoppable creative energy.
👻 Watch as beloved Irish mythological figures come to life, including the fierce Morrígan, the radiant river goddess Sionnan, the legendary Setanta with his loyal hound, and the heroic Cú Chulainn. Together, these icons of Irish lore will ignite a parade filled with movement, myth, and magic.
