Author talk & release party: Yael van der Wouden, The Safekeep

📚 Join us for an engaging author talk with Yael van der Wouden and Ylva Emel Karlsson at Page28 in collaboration with Bazar! This event celebrates the upcoming release of the Swedish translation of Yael's novel, The Safekeep (I minnenas hus), which was last month’s pick for Tisdagsklubben!

🗣️ After the discussion, attendees will have the chance to ask questions to both authors, followed by a mingle and festive release celebration!

🖊️ Yael van der Wouden, born in 1987, resides and works in the Netherlands. With a background in comparative literature from Utrecht University, she specializes in cultural memory and landscape. For the past decade, she has taught comparative literature, creative writing, and storytelling.

🌟 Her debut novel, The Safekeep, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2024 and has also been longlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize, Wingate Prize, and Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction.
