Join us for the Open Gardens event at the Holm House! 🌿

The Porvoo Museum will participate in the nationwide Open Gardens event on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 12 noon to 5 pm.

Nestled in the heart of Old Porvoo, the historic courtyard of Holm House is one of the few inner courtyards accessible to the public. Here, you will find a beautiful blend of buildings from various eras, traditional garden plants, and the modern uses of the space. 🏛️🌺

During the event, visitors can explore the rich history of the courtyard, delve into its plantings and architecture, and reflect on the future of cultural environments amid climate change and biodiversity loss. 🌍💚 You will also have the opportunity to visit the Wikman House, an 18th-century bakehouse that has served as the home for the museum caretaker's family. 🍞🏡
