🌍 We're living in a time when the French post-punk/Oi! scene is experiencing a vibrant resurgence, even capturing attention from The Guardian. This politically charged movement is inspiring new bands to tap into the enduring influence of Blitz and the musical shift that they initiated. From Litovsk and Rixe to modern DIY punk leaders like Syndrome 81, Cuir, Hinin, Oi Boys, Kronstadt, and many more, this genre is reclaiming its roots and reestablishing traditional Oi! music's connection to the working class.

Montreal’s Béton Armé stands strong within this new wave. Their latest album, Renaissance, pays homage to the European Oi! bands of the 1980s, while also venturing beyond conventional sounds. Blending anthemic Oi! with elements of Canada’s metal and punk heritage, early Voïvod influences, and underground hits from Inepsy, they create an irresistible cocktail enriched with disco beats and melodic nuances akin to the iconic Blue Album by Adolescents. Expect addictive vocal hooks and undeniable sing-along moments that resonate, even if you don't speak the language!

As part of their expansive European tour, Béton Armé will electrify the iconic bunker known as Bike Jesus!

On the other hand, Remdik is a collective of brothers by choice, embodying a unique family of straight edge skins from Žilina, whose values resonate with the spirit of old school Boston and New York hardcore. Their music is a thrilling mix of hardcore punk and Oi!, overflowing with catchy lyrics, bold attitudes, provocation, and humor. Their latest release, Potkany Patria Do Diery (Rats Belong in Holes), debuted under the Brno-based label Kabinet Records.
