Opening Reception: Beyond the Image 🎨

Join All Street Gallery and Shadowbanned Magazine for the opening reception of Beyond the Image: A Benefit Exhibition for The Sameer Project. This exhibition features artists whose work examines the construction, circulation, and contestation of images related to the Middle East and its diasporas.

Through various mediums including painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, digital media, artificial intelligence, photography, and installation, the exhibition explores themes of memory, archives, technology, colonialism, and representation, all while raising funds for The Sameer Project, a Palestinian-led mutual aid initiative supporting displaced families in Gaza.

The evening will provide an opportunity to experience the exhibition, meet participating artists, and engage in discussions about art, memory, resistance, and collective liberation.

After the reception, continue the celebration at the official After Party at Beverlys (297 Grand St, NY 10002), starting at 8:00 PM and going late. T-shirts and Taim Olive Oil products will be available for sale to further support The Sameer Project.

Throughout the exhibition, participating artists and collaborators will present a series of public programs—including workshops, artist talks, and performances—that delve deeper into the exhibition's themes. Proceeds from all public programming will benefit The Sameer Project.
