Bloomsday honors James Joyce’s masterwork, Ulysses, detailing the adventures of Leopold Bloom in Dublin on June 16, 1904. This day is marked globally with readings, costume contests, re-enactments, talks, and exhibitions. While we start with Joyce, it's an opportunity to explore the rich tapestry of Irish literary talent! 🇮🇪

Ireland has gifted us with many legendary writers—including W.B. Yeats, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, Seamus Heaney, Edna O’Brien, Bram Stoker, Maeve Binchy, and contemporary voices like Claire Keegan, Sally Rooney, Roddy Doyle, and Colm Tóibín.

• Introduction to Bloomsday, James Joyce & Ulysses by Lauri Niskanen (17:35)
• Open Ulysses Reading Circle (17:45) - Public participation is encouraged (discussing episode 15 in Finnish).
