Brian Blade's journey began at a young age, mastering the violin and eventually finding his passion in drumming, guided by his brother Brady. As he honed his skills in high school, he became a part of the Polyphonics under Dorsey Summerfield, Jr., where he absorbed the sounds of jazz legends like John Coltrane and Miles Davis.

After relocating to New Orleans for his studies at Loyola University, Brian's path merged with Jon Cowherd, leading to the formation of the iconic Fellowship Band. The band has graced prestigious stages like the Village Vanguard and played at renowned festivals including the New Orleans Jazz Fest. With a discography of seven albums, including their latest release, KINGS HIGHWAY, their sound is an evolution of talent and friendship.
