Clothing Swap and Textile Recycling Event

Join us for the first annual Clothing Swap and Textile Recycling Event! 🎉
When: July 28, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Where: Fridley City Hall (7071 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN)

Bring your items that no longer spark joy and exchange them for some new treasures! 👜✨ You don’t have to bring items to participate, so come find some goodies!

Swap Details

• What to Bring: Adult and children’s outerwear, tops, bottoms, and reusable bags.
• Condition: Please ensure all items are washed and dry.
• Leftovers: Any unclaimed items will be donated or recycled through Retold Recycling.

Items Accepted

• Clothing and accessories in donatable condition (e.g., purses, hats, belts, shoes).

Items Not Accepted

• Items not in donatable condition, stained items, textiles coated with plastic, and items with stuffing like pillows.

Recycling Details

Clear out fabrics that can’t be donated! All textiles (even scraps!) are accepted for recycling through Retold Recycling. Please bag and label items as “For Recycling.” Let's keep 1,000 pounds of textiles out of the landfill!

Drop-Off Information

Drop off items at City Hall on July 27 or 28, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 🕒

• Use labeled bags for recycling.

Can't make it? Remember, reuse is the best option for good textiles! The Coon Rapids Recycling Center accepts textiles year-round. ♻️
