College "Sustainability" Hack-a-thon

Join Nerdy Girl Success and SLB for an exciting one-day Sustainability Hack-a-thon designed specifically for college women eager to collaborate, create, and tackle real-world challenges that truly matter! This is not a lecture—no prior experience in sustainability, engineering, or tech is necessary. All you need is curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to work alongside other driven young women in a fun, supportive environment.

Throughout the day, participants will:

💡 Work in teams to solve sustainability challenges
🌱 Explore topics related to climate, nature, and community impact
🤝 Connect with professional women and mentors from across Houston
🎤 Present ideas in a collaborative pitch experience
🏆 Compete for exciting prizes and awards

Participants will also gain hands-on leadership experience, enhance communication and teamwork skills, and build confidence tackling complex ideas in a space designed to foster innovation and bold thinking.

Whether you’re studying STEM, business, communications, healthcare, education, or simply passionate about creating positive change, this experience is perfect for you!

Eligibility Requirements:
• Identify as a woman
• Ages 18–22
• Currently enrolled in college/university/junior college/community college or a recent graduate (within 2 years)
