Dive into the fascinating 1776 Domínguez–Escalante Expedition, a six-month journey that resulted in some of the earliest written and cartographic records of the interior American Southwest. 🗺️✨

Among the expedition's members was Don Bernardo Miera y Pacheco, a remarkable soldier, artist, cartographer, and polymath, whose influential map became the first European depiction of much of present-day Utah.
