Community Clean Up

Join us for a fantastic Community Clean Up! Together, we can enhance the beauty of Old Brooklyn and maintain a clean and welcoming neighborhood. Your participation helps ensure our streets and sidewalks are clean and landscaped, making them more walkable for everyone!

🛠 What Will Volunteers Do?

• Depending on the day and route, you’ll assist in:
  • Cleaning weeds and flower beds along our corridors
  • Picking up trash and debris

🧤 What to Bring or Wear?

• We’ll provide all necessary tools, including pickers, trash bags, buckets, shovels, and hand tools!
• If you have a favorite pair of gloves, feel free to bring them along.
• Please bring a reusable water bottle, wear close-toed shoes, and dress in clothes that can get dirty.

📍 Meeting Location: Join us in the back parking lot of the Old Brooklyn CDC Building at 4274 Pearl Rd. Look for the Old Brooklyn sign and head down Stanford or Henritze to find the parking lot. Plenty of parking is available on Pearl, Stanford, Henritze, or the former CVS lot—please avoid parking in the lot behind our building (it is not ours).
