
Community Conversation - Food Access and Nutrition
Join us for an enlightening Community Conversation focused on food access and nutrition! Recent federal policies have reshaped how individuals can access food assistance programs and dietary guidelines.
We’re partnering with University of Michigan School of Public Health and Kent County Essential Needs Task Force to help the community understand these changes:
➡️ When? 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21
➡️ Where? 341 Hall St. SE, Grand Rapids
🗣️ The event will include expert discussions on maintaining Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and the latest nutrition guidance for healthy diets. Local organizations will also be present to share resources that aid Kent County families in overcoming food access challenges.
