About the Band:
Formed in Wexford in 1982, Cry Before Dawn blends the intensity of guitar-driven rock with traditional Irish pipes and whistles, creating a unique sound. 🎸✨

With two double platinum albums and numerous prestigious awards, including “Best Newcomer” in 1987 and “Best Irish Group” in 1989, they have solidified their place in Ireland's music scene.

The band's passionate performances have attracted a dedicated following, with sold-out shows in Ireland, the UK, and the USA, including two memorable nights at Ireland's National Stadium.

Since 2023, they have been touring extensively, captivating audiences at major venues and festivals like All Together Now, Forest Fest, and Night & Day. 🔥

In celebration of their 2025 Irish Tour, they released “Open Water,” their first vinyl since 1989, debuting at No. 1 in the Official Irish Independent Album Chart.

To mark their 40th anniversary with CBS Records, they have released a retrospective album titled “Songs That Got Away: 1984 – 1990,” available for streaming now. 🎶
