Silk's art reflects her journey through life, weaving together separate events and recollections to create a meaningful visual expression. 🎉 The title, Dayenu, which means "It Would Have Been Enough," draws from a Passover Seder song that embodies gratitude for life's gifts, a theme central to this exhibition. ✨

Each piece tells its own story of gratitude and highlights Silk's spiritual practices, intertwining influences from Judaism and Zen Buddhism.

With over 50 years of experience, Louise Silk's art has been featured throughout the United States in multiple solo exhibitions, including her recent career retrospective at the Heinz History Center. You can find Silk in her studio on the South Side of Pittsburgh, where she continues to create remarkable art.
