This special event honors Denise Whalen Carey, a former manager at Breakwater Beach who lost her battle with cancer. She dedicated her heart to the events and birthday parties at the park, and she is dearly missed.

Adopt your crab for only $5 starting August 1st at the admission windows at the Waterpark Entrance, or purchase online for $5.50 here. Cheer on your crab for a chance to win exciting prizes, including $100 and 10 all-day passes to Breakwater Beach for the 2027 season for the winning crab! 🎉

Proceeds from the event will go directly to Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in hopes of finding a cure for cancer. You do not need to be present to win a prize; you can still make a donation for the crab entry.
