The word “DNA” represents three elements of great significance in Bolek Polívka’s play. DNA is the carrier of genetic information. It is also a disease. And there are other “dnas”—moments that people try unsuccessfully to forget.
A generational clash between a father and daughter who experience the everyday satire of life. As fellow actors, they spend time together in the dressing room and occasionally dash out onto the stage. Or are they already on stage? He is a man tested by life who likes to lecture and meddle in his offspring’s life. She feels that her father is a paranoid busybody. Both are united by a sincere “to love, even though…”.
