Eva Urbanová & Jaroslav Svěcený + Moravské klavírní trio

Saturday's festival concert will feature opera star Eva Urbanová, who has performed on stages around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York. She is a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters of France and a recipient of the Medal of Merit for the Arts. The legendary Czech soprano will be accompanied by the renowned Brno ensemble Moravian Piano Trio (Jana Ryšánková – piano, Jiří Jahoda – violin, Miroslav Zicha – cello). The program will feature works by Antonín Dvořák, Franz Schubert, Jules Massenet, Aram Khachaturian, Giuseppe Verdi, and many other composers. The evening will open with a performance by the three-time Czech street dance champions, the Chilies dance group, together with violin virtuoso Jaroslav Svěcený! Two new choreographies will have their festival premiere!
