Fichtl
A bitter comedy from a time when life ran on a single track. Oil in gasoline, freedom within oppression, and love in sweatpants.
In the mid-1980s, a group of boys in a small town and an even smaller neighborhood are going through their turbulent adolescence. Eda (Pavel Liška) loves Soňa. The others (Michal Isteník) also love Soňa. On National Day, they have to join the lantern parade; decent music can only be heard on foreign radio stations; the motorcycle they long for is no longer manufactured; and “Tesilky” clothes are terribly itchy. How to cope with all this, and what does Soňa think? In this one-of-a-kind production, Pavel Liška and Michal Isteník lead the audience right to the threshold of their own memories.
The production was created as a co-production between Bolek Polívka’s Theater and the Anima Art agency.
