Join us in downtown Princeton for another exciting evening of First Friday Concerts in the Square, taking place every First Friday from May through October in the Grassroots District!

These FREE evenings are a perfect opportunity to gather with friends and family, enjoy live music, shop, dine, and explore our vibrant community. 🌟

Concerts are held in The Square and promise to be easygoing, family-friendly events filled with fantastic music and the joy of downtown coming alive.

🌧️ Note: In the event of rain or bad weather, concerts will move indoors to The Dream Bean.

Jonathan Scales Fourchestra
Jonathan Scales Fourchestra is an innovative power trio led by steel pannist and composer Jonathan Scales, featuring E'Lon JD on electric bass and Maison Guidry on drums. Their diverse blend of jazz, classical, progressive rock, Latin rhythms, and funky soul creates a sound that is both dynamic and adventurous.
Since their formation in 2007, the Fourchestra has captivated audiences across North America and Europe with electrifying live performances known for their high energy and improvisation. They've also served as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. Department of State during international tours in Africa and Asia.
Jonathan Scales is renowned for redefining the possibilities of the steel pan, drawing inspiration from a variety of artists and composers, including Béla Fleck, Igor Stravinsky, and Björk. Their collaborations and appearances, such as NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, have solidified their status as one of the most inventive ensembles in contemporary instrumental music.
