AI has fundamentally transformed how startups secure funding. With smaller teams and quicker traction, investors’ questions have shifted dramatically over the last few years, especially regarding defensibility, team dynamics, and what constitutes effective early-stage traction.

Florian Huber boasts a wealth of experience, having founded two companies (united-domains, sold to 1&1, and neubau kompass, sold to Scout24 in 2024) and investing in over 60 startups, including Foodora. He was recognized as the German Business Angel of the Year 2018. In 2022, he co-founded EWOR with Daniel Dippold and other prominent unicorn founders, selecting just 35 founders from over 35,000 applicants to provide €500k checks before their companies exist. 💡💰
