Featuring the work of eleven talented Bay Area artists, designers, and technologists, this event is all about reimagining the frameworks that guide our cultural experiences.

What to Expect:

• Engaging Works: Encounter systems that reshape our cultural life, with artificial agents inviting us to rethink liveliness and intelligence.
• Creative Economy Models: Discover new frameworks for ownership, exhibition, and exchange that promote reciprocal creative economies.
• Embodied Formats: Experience formats that restore presence and conversation to media often consumed in solitude.

The Showcase highlights themes from four tracks: Generative Media, Synthetic Realities, Collective Systems, and Creative Ventures. Immerse yourself in algorithmic and AI-driven artworks, thrilling immersive experiences, experimental platforms, and innovative collective production frameworks.

This event marks the culmination of Gray Area's 2026 Cultural Incubator, where interdisciplinary creators undergo months of mentorship, critique, and professional growth. Join us as prototypes take the spotlight and invite you to play, test, question, and explore.

• Showcase Opening Night: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 7 PM to 10 PM
• Showcase Open Hours: Thursday, August 6 & Friday, August 7, from 6 PM to 9 PM

• Sliding Scale Admission: $0–30
