Grief Poetry Slam & Open Mic

Join us at the Branigan Cultural Center for the Grief Poetry Slam & Open Mic! 🎤🖋️ In honor of National Grief Awareness Month, we're inviting local community members to share their poetry, prose, songs, and other forms of emotional expression. This event is perfect for those aged 18 and up who wish to present their works reflecting on grief or other deep feelings.

• 🎶 Tip: Each piece should be under five minutes to ensure everyone has a chance to share.

This event coincides with the "Ubi Sunt Poetry Workshop" from the previous week. Additionally, it complements the ongoing exhibit, “Into the Great White Sands: Photographs by Craig Varjabedian,” on display through September 5.
