Haiku writing & Forest Bathing

Haiku writing & Forest Bathing

O události

🐌 Take a pause from the busyness of everyday life and join us for a relaxing and enjoyable session of haiku writing and forest bathing in the park.

😌 This event is for anyone who would like to slow down, connect with nature, spark their creativity, and experience a sense of calm. Whether you're a seasoned writer, a complete beginner, or simply curious to try something new, you are warmly welcome.

🌳 Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is the Japanese practice of slowing down and being mindful so that we become more connected with nature and with ourselves. The name is a bit misleading since we don’t go in the water; instead, we immerse ourselves in Nature. And we don’t need to be in a forest either! Any patch of nature will do.

📝 A haiku is a 3-line poem that captures a moment of observation or insight, often inspired by nature. Its simplicity encourages us to notice small details that we might otherwise overlook.

🤝 Haiku writing and forest bathing complement each other beautifully. Both invite us to slow down, observe carefully, and appreciate the world around us. Through mindful attention, we discover images, sounds, and experiences that can be transformed into vivid, meaningful poems.

During this session, we'll do a forest bathing practice, spend time in Nature, and experiment with writing our own haiku. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to relax, connect with others, express your creativity, and experience the pleasure of noticing the beauty in everyday moments.

No prior experience in forest bathing or poetry is needed. The emphasis is on exploration, enjoyment, and curiosity rather than getting things "right."

Come along for a fun, welcoming, and inspiring experience in nature. Leave feeling refreshed, creative, and more connected to the present moment.

🙋🏻‍♂️ About Me

I’m a coach specializing in emotional intelligence. I trained in Forest Bathing 3 years ago and practice mindfulness daily. I also dabble in poetry. Last year, I set myself a challenge to write 100 haikus in 100 days. Now I want to combine forest bathing and haiku writing to allow you to experience more peace, clarity, and ease in your life.
