🔝 Embark on a breathtaking high-mountain adventure in the Catalan Pyrenees!

Join us as we hike to the classic summit of Balandrau at 2,585 m, offering open ridges, alpine meadows, and stunning panoramic views of the eastern Pyrenees. 🌄

🥾 The Plan
We’ll travel to the Ripollès for an unforgettable hike. Starting from the Collet de la Gralla area, we’ll park right where the trail begins. The access is via an easy dirt track. As we begin our ascent, enjoy picturesque views of the valleys and Pyrenean peaks, where lovely grassy slopes meet the sky.

Approaching the summit, the views become more impressive, culminating in the spacious summit of Balandrau. From here, admire the breathtaking scenery of the eastern Pyrenees, the Vall de Núria, Coma de Vaca, and the lovely Freser valley.

After taking in the views from the top, we’ll make our way back on a circular route, giving us time to revel in the mountain atmosphere before heading back to Barcelona.

This hike is not technically challenging under summer conditions, yet proper hiking shoes and clothing are essential, along with a reasonable fitness level for the high-altitude terrain.
